Something that a lot of healthcare facilities take into consideration when making the decision to prohibit cell phone use is the fact that cell phones can potentially interfere with vital medical equipment. There are studies that show cell phones can create electromagnetic interference, which could potentially affect the performance of feeding tubes, ventilators, pacemakers, and other critical care machinery. A lot of people will shoot down these theories and brush them off as speculation, but when you're dealing with peoples lives… Why take a chance?

Pictorial Only: They say that a picture is worth a thousand words and this sign is no exception. This sign features two cell phones with a red circle and slash over them, and conveys in no uncertain terms that the use of cellular phones is not allowed in the facility.
Pictorial with Regulations: This sign is the best of both worlds, and is ideal if you want to expand on why visitors aren't allowed to use their cell phones. One side contains the "no cell phone" graphic, while the other side holds more detailed information about why cell phone use is prohibited. This sign features changeable inserts for easy updating.
